PURUA PAUKENA
INGREDIENTS
Tahi Paukena
Tahi Riki topetope
Rua Karoti topetope
Koata Kapeti topetope
Tahi Kumura topetope
Koata kupu Miere
Tahi kupu Poaka topetope
Semi soften the paukena by putting it whole in the microwave for 5-10 minutes or oven for 15-20 minutes.
Cut the top off the paukena and scoop out seeds.
Discard seeds or put them in the compost heap.
Scoop out some of the flesh and put in a bowl.
In the same bowl add the riki, karoti, kapeti, kumura, and poaka.
Melt the miere and pour over the manga and poaka. Mix thoroughly and place all the ingredients back inside the paukena shell.
Bake purua paukena at 180°C until the manga is soft and the poaka tender.
