Shapes

Print out the Shape cut out page and the Shapes answer page. Cut out the shapes and glue the matching shapes together so that one side shows the shape and the otherside says what the shape’s name is in Maori and answer shapes together. See if you can remember the name without out having to look on the other side.

Print out 2 sheets of the Shapes cut out page and cut the shapes out.

Using the tapatoru and tapawha (rite), can you make a whare?
Using the tapatoru and anau, can you make a man wearing a pointed potae and a pahau?
Using the tapawha (rite) and tapawha and porohita can, you make a taraka?
Using the anau and huamanu and whetu, can you make a person under a heketau?
Using the tapawha and anau, can you make a maka?
